This Month’s Featured Experts

Why Self-Love is The First Step to Success in Life

Have you ever taken some time to acknowledge yourself for all the successes, the failed attempts and the sacrifices you’ve made to be here today?

If getting even further in life is one of your top priorities, self-love is the main criteria for you in order to achieve that! Why? Because only YOU know what your heart’s true desire is! Only YOU know how far you want to go and how high you’re willing to set the bar! In this workshop, we have invited Executive and Leadership Coach for Women, Kate Bollanou. She will be explaining what self-love means and how you can practice it meaningfully (because spa days and manicures are great pamperings, but it goes much deeper than that).

Kate was raised in a mixed-race family, with her Asian side setting very strict limitations on her. Having spent the first decades of her life as a timid person, trying to conform to those expectations and please her family, Kate realised that she wasn’t reaching her full potential. Her wake-up call was when she had her first daughter and vowed that she would let her own personality flourish, stopping generations of female suppression.

“Seeing how confident and outspoken my two girls are, makes me realise how important it is to honor and love yourself in order to succeed!” says Kate.

Taking her passion for women empowerment into her Coaching business, Kate helps women find their voice and speak up, so they can get what they truly want from life. She believes that with the right mindset, skills, and methodologies all women can express what they want with confidence and assertiveness. Kate loves spending time reading self-development and positive parenting books and has recently discovered the addictive magic of Netflix.

Self-love: The key to achieving your goals in 2019

If you have ever had the experience of setting and neglecting a goal, it may have been because of a lack of self-love. Self-love is a key factor in setting and achieving your goals. As you embark on your goals, it is crucial to recognize your worth, connect to your purpose, and be kind to yourself in the process. Adding self-love to the pursuit or your goals helps you to embrace the process of opportunities to learn, love, and thrive. In this lesson participants will learn to:

– Define self-love

– Reflect on their current goal strategies

– Set meaningful goals

– Implement self-loving practices into their lives

This workshop is hosted by Shainna Ali, a mental health clinician, supervisor, educator, and advocate. She is passionate about destigmatizing mental health counseling and helping individuals worldwide recognize the importance of fostering mental wellness.

Dr. Ali is the author of The Self-Love Workbook: A Life-Changing Guide to Boost Self-Esteem, Recognize Your Worth and Find Genuine Happiness, and an active blog contributor for Psychology Today, the American Counseling Association, and the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

Dr. Ali presently teaches counselor education courses at the University of Central Florida and at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Beyond professional conference presentations, she also provides tailored educational workshops for the local counseling community.

As a mental health advocate Dr. Ali has been featured in the media such as on NPR’s On Point, Yahoo, and in the Daily Mail. She is a past president of the Florida Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development and presently serves on the editorial boards for the Journal for Creativity in Mental Health and the Journal of Counseling Sexology & Sexual Wellness: Research, Practice, and Education.

Dr. Ali was named an emerging leader by the Association for Counselor Education & Supervision and Association for Creativity in Counseling. Further, Dr. Ali was awarded the Pete Fischer Humanitarian award for her efforts in counseling.

Stepping into your full potential and living your best life

The ultimate secret to stepping into your full potential and living your best life

Being a woman in a male-dominated world is full of challenges. The feelings of not being good enough, of being rejected, of being judged, of not being worthy, of not being loveable, of not being able to do anything by ourselves, of always be compared and as a result comparing ourselves all the time, are heavily present in our societies and deeply ingrained, resulting in lack of self-esteem and lack of self-confidence.

Did you know that the only key to go beyond all this and to live a thriving and empowered life is self-love? Ariane will take you through her own journey into self-love and the tools and techniques she has been using, and explain how it has totally transformed her life. Once you fully accept and embrace every aspect of yourself, you are put on an unstoppable path of opportunities, connections, success, joy, and happiness, and you can reach any goal you set for yourself.

Ariane is a fully qualified Holistic Health Coach and a Breathwork Practitioner. Ariane has always had a passion for health and wellbeing and how they are affected by food and lifestyle, and made it her mission to help, guide and assist people in regaining their health and vitality to live their life to the fullest.

She also helps people release emotional blockages and trauma from their lives through breathwork, allowing boosted self-esteem, self-love, and a fully expressed life.

Boost your Confidence in 5 Simple Steps

Confidence is a strange thing. When you’re doing really well, you’re focused on successes and accomplishments, and you feel confident and strong. But when you’re down or sad, you’re focused on failures and you feel low self-confidence or even defeat. Please know that you’re not alone in these highs and lows.

Everyone struggles with self-confidence every now and then. The key is recognizing that confidence is like a muscle — the more you work on it, the easier it will be for you to use and maintain.

During this workshop, Nicoline Huizinga, visibility expert, coach shares her top 5 ways to work your confidence muscle and boost your confidence on a daily basis.

Nicoline Huizinga is a certified, self-employed confidence and visibility expert, coach, speaker and author of the book ‘Flick the F*ck It Switch’ due to be published in the Spring of 2019.

After working for international corporates for 25 years and learning the tricks of the trade from world class trainers and coaches, she now helps female solopreneurs to be visible on relevant platforms for them to land great client contracts.

She strongly believes female solopreneurs should earn more money by using their unique talents and gifts. It’s her opinion that once women will have more money, they will use it to invest it in themselves, their families and their businesses, and empower other business owners (including their employees) and the less fortunate in this world along that journey.

Nicoline’s services include coaching and training for groups and in 1:1 programmes for female service providers to increase their authority, to sell to ideal clients with ease and to increase turnover as a result.

Nicoline’s born and raised in the Netherlands, but her clients are located all over the world, as she is fluent in 4 languages.

She is married, a humorous mom to a 14-year old son, a food & wine lover and a human behaviour connoisseur.

Beauty has so many forms, but the most beautiful thing is confidence & self-love.
